Terms and conditions
These terms cover your use of the TaboraX browser extension, TaboraX accounts and this website, all provided by ZilFox Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us"). By installing TaboraX, creating an account or using this website, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use TaboraX on your own browsers. The extension, its name, logo and design remain the property of ZilFox Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Your account
You don't need an account to use TaboraX. If you create one:
- Give us a real email address that you can access, because we send security codes to it.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the extension, after confirming with a one-time code sent to your email.
Plans and billing
TaboraX has three plans: X Spark, X Flow and X Flux. What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page.
- All three plans are free until 31 December 2026 as a launch promotion. No payment details are needed during this period.
- We may extend the promotion beyond 31 December 2026. If we do, we'll show the new end date on the pricing page and on this page, and no one will be charged before it.
- When the promotion ends (currently 1 January 2027), X Spark stays free. X Flow costs $12 a year and X Flux costs $19 a year, in US dollars. In India they cost ₹499 and ₹1,499 a year, and in Nepal NPR 499 and NPR 1,499 a year. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is shown at checkout.
- You can buy a paid plan in the extension while you're signed in (open your profile and choose Upgrade), or activate one with a one-time code. A purchase or a code unlocks its plan for the length stated, usually one year. A year bought while the launch promotion runs starts when the promotion ends.
- Card and PayPal payments are processed by Paddle.com, which sells the plan to you as our reseller and merchant of record: Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment, and Paddle handles sales tax and receipts. Payments in Nepal can also be made with Khalti.
- Plans don't renew automatically, and you're never charged again unless you buy again. When a plan ends, your account goes back to X Spark. Nothing you've saved is deleted.
- Buying or redeeming the plan you already have adds its time to the end of that plan. When you buy a higher plan, it starts straight away and the time left on your lower plan is turned into extra days of the higher one, in proportion to their prices. A code for a higher plan starts that plan straight away. A lower plan can't be bought or redeemed while a higher plan is running.
- We may change prices or plan contents in the future. Any change will be shown on the pricing page before it applies to you.
The founder's lifetime offer
For a limited time, X Flux for life can be bought with one payment: $39 (₹2,999 in India, NPR 2,999 in Nepal). It's offered to the first 500 buyers and only until 30 June 2027, whichever comes first; once it closes it can't be bought again, but anyone who bought it keeps it.
- "For life" means for as long as TaboraX is offered to the public, on the account that bought it. It includes every X Flux feature, including ones we add later, and is never charged again.
- It belongs to that account and can't be transferred. Codes and other purchases aren't needed on it and can't be applied to it.
- If we ever stop offering TaboraX, we'll tell lifetime members at least 90 days before, and a member who bought it less than two years before that announcement can ask for a refund in proportion to the time left of those two years.
- The refund policy below also applies to it.
Refunds
If you buy a plan or a plan code and find the plan isn't right for you, you can ask for a refund within 24 hours of the payment.
- Email connect@taborax.com within 24 hours of paying, from the email address you paid with, and include your receipt or the code.
- If your request reaches us within those 24 hours, we'll refund that payment in full to the payment method you used. You don't need to give a reason.
- Once the refund is issued, the plan it paid for ends, and a code is cancelled.
- Requests sent more than 24 hours after a payment aren't eligible, unless the law where you live, or Paddle's buyer terms for a card or PayPal payment, give you longer — then that applies.
Plan codes
A code can be redeemed once, on one account, and only as described when it was issued. Codes have no cash value and can't be resold or exchanged unless we've agreed to it. We may cancel a code that was obtained or used unfairly, or that was refunded.
Invite rewards
When a new account uses your invite code, you and that friend each get free days of a plan, as shown in the extension when the invite is used. Each account can use one invite code, within its first week, and an account earns rewards for up to 12 friends. Free days have no cash value and can't be transferred. We may withdraw rewards obtained unfairly — for example through fake or duplicate accounts.
What you agree not to do
- Resell, rebrand or redistribute the extension as your own product
- Reverse-engineer it, or get around plan limits, except where the law specifically allows it
- Overload, attack or send automated requests to our servers, including sign-in, sync and link safety checks
- Use TaboraX to break the law or to interfere with anyone else's systems
If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account.
Your content
Anything you add — shortcuts, notes, tasks, saved tabs, uploaded images — belongs to you. Without an account it's stored only on your device. With an account, the parts described in our privacy policy are also synced to our servers. Keeping your own backup is still your responsibility, and the extension includes an export option for that.
Groups you share
When you share a group, anyone who has the link can see its sites, and can pass the link on. You're responsible for what you share: don't use shared groups to spread malware, phishing or anything unlawful. We can't see what's in a shared group, but if we're told a link is being used that way, we may stop it working. You can stop sharing at any time from the group editor.
Link safety warnings
TaboraX checks links you save as shortcuts or type into the search bar with Google Cloud Web Risk, follows short links to see where they lead, and warns you about suspected phishing, malware, unwanted software and addresses that imitate well-known sites. These warnings are advice, not a guarantee: some unsafe sites may not be flagged, and some safe sites may be flagged by mistake. If you choose "Add anyway" or "Open anyway", or visit any site from your new tab, you do so at your own risk.
Focus blocking and the family lock
Blocking sites during a focus session and the family lock are there to help you, not to enforce anything. Anyone who can change the browser's own settings can get around them — for example by turning off the extension — and the family lock doesn't filter what's on the web beyond keeping SafeSearch on. If you forget the family PIN, removing and reinstalling TaboraX clears it (sign in again to get your synced setup back).
Other websites and services
Your shortcuts open websites that we don't control, and some features rely on outside services, such as Open-Meteo for weather and Google for site icons and fonts. We're not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Availability
We work to keep TaboraX and its sync service stable and updated, but we provide them as they are, without a guarantee that every feature will be available at all times or will suit every purpose. We may change or remove features, and we'll give notice of changes that significantly affect a paid plan.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, ZilFox Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the extension, the sync service or this website, including lost data you had not backed up.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll also let account holders know by email or in the extension. If you keep using TaboraX after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu.
